Why charging to change name???????

i booked a ticket for my daughter and friend unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the friend was unable to go. seeing I already paid for the ticket I request them to change the name of the friend to another person. to my utmost surprise they insisted I go and pay addition 235 to change the name, what baffled me no ticket has been printed nor was It the day of departure so I really feel it is unfair to pay to change a mere name. worst is that they said if I don't than my ticket will not be confirmed even if I paid my full bus fare already, last time I make use of them people be careful u will pay for changing name on intercape
