The bus that never stopped...

<p>Today I watched as my friend get left behind by the intercape bus. The worst part of it all the bus already late by 30 minutes and the drivers were unapologetic about leaving him instead being late was their excuse for yielding at the bus stop.</p> <p>My friend is a student and he can't even afford a taxi fare this ticket was bought for him by his sponsor.</p> <p>He called his friends in the bus asked them to inform the bus driver that he just got left behind, the response was " we can't stop"</p> <p>In panic we had to find a car that could race against the bus to try and stop it, need I say the speed we were travelling we were begging for a funeral.</p> <p>We chased the bus for 20 km continuously asking our friends in the bus to ask the driver to please slow down as we were following them. Only after that 20km mark were we able to catch up with the bus which also made me question the speed the bus was travelling.</p> <p> </p> <p> After chasing the bus for more than 20km obviously we were all furious by what we had just noticed we asked what happened? the response we got was notable: " our law says we should not wait for people who are not at the bus stop" so in consesus they are saying if we don't see a person on the bus stop we just pass.</p> <p>I was shocked... really??? after waiting for your late bus, is that what intercape teaches it's staff? Makes you wonder how do you treat senior citizens customers who can't stand for long or directly stand by the bus stop?</p> <p>Not wanting to jump into conclusion I realised that the drivers might also be making a living putting their kids through school but do they ever wonder that they could also causing someone his job ,future or career ? </p> <p> I learnt one thing today intercape doesn't know how to work with people!</p>
