On the 23rd of December 2017 my mom boarded an Intercape from Park Station to Kathu and on arrival at Kathu her luggage was missing. The drivers admitted that they left the trailer unattended and another passenger confirmed that she saw someone take a bag from the trailer and thought it was his bag. Now we were told to lodge a claim that we waited about four weeks for a response. The next thing we are told that Intercape doesn't insure passengers' goods and that they won't compensate anything. They made us write affidavits and a list of things lost. Didn't they know then that they don't have insurance. Why is Intercape harbouring ********* as a Christian organisation. My theory is that the drivers colluded with the perpetrator to ***** a bag. How else do we explain this. A bag lost because of their negligence. How should we trust this company then.? Had we known that my mom was going to be subjected to this, we were going to take the bus keys and the bus was not going anywhere before they find that bag.
