Smoke started coming out from inside the bus

On the 17th of December 2024, I was traveling with my 2 year old, a 10 year old and a 15 year old, from Midrand to Kokstad. The bus was obviously late and there was no formal communication or apology and I could also see that the driver was very rude and not empathetic at all, but that was nothing. When we were traveling the bus only stopped once at Mentrose, no explanation as to why it wasn't stopping for people to relieve themselves after Montrose.

The worst happened when we were approaching Kokstad, the bus stopped in the middle of nowhere with no explanation to the passengers again and the next thing that happened is the bus started coming smoke from inside. That time both drivers are outside not saying or doing anything about the smoke that's coming from the bus or at least tell people what to do. People obviously stated running outside the bus, even that time, the bus drivers were still standing outside not bothered. By the time my lift came and I left that scene, we were still not addressed as to what happened and what's going to happen especially because we had not arrived at our destination. Intercape is expensive for nothing, the way I panicked carrying a toddler in my hands when that smoke started coming out, I'm so traumatised
