Safe, Dependable, Affordable - NOT anymore

This is probably a story that most travellers may have experienced but not certain how many get to tell their stories.

Guess it occurs so much now that it has been accepted as a norm for a "reputable" business such as Intercape.

However, nothing is normal about being stuck on the side of the road for over 2 hours waiting for a repair car and another bus all which should never occur if the coach has been cleared to carry people on the road (an accident waiting to happen). I suppose the carrier has forgotten it's own goals SAFE, DEPENDABLE. It may be affordable but spending R300 to be stuck on the side of the road, is absolutely not worth it. Not only that but the number of times it occurs appears to even be more appalling - a friend had the same thing happen to her at the beginning of the year, the BUS RAN OUT OF FUEL (negligence much) just outside of Durban - they only arrived after midnight, ever think how your passengers got home??? Ofcourse you already made profit from them right, bottom line - met!

We left PTA at 09.30 only got to DBN @ 10pm, 1 driver was actually rude to a passenger who had been waiting in Harrismith for over 4 hours because of the delay, your call center or who ever is responsible in tracking your buses and communicating delays to passengers didn't even bother to inform them of the mishap of your DEPENDABLE coach!

Thank you though, for not sending a message to your passengers explaining the delay and offering your apologies for the inconveniences caused we really appreciate it because well you know we really weren't in a rush to make it back to our families and arrive on time to be able to get home safely!

If you keep this service up, think you might just end up following suit to RoadLink..

On the bright side, we arrived safely - thanks for sending us a safe and dependable coach - ICG150 GP!
