I booked a return trip from Nelspruit to Johannesburg on 2015-02-06. The Intercape bus was supposed to leave Nelspruit to Johannesburg at 11:30. The bus was late for 30 min due to a border delay, then the bus had a breakdown and we left Nelspruit at 14:00. We arrived in Johannesburg at 20:10. I missed my 17:45 bus to Cape Town as the Intercape bus 150 broke down again. Intercape did not want to arrange accommodation for me because they say they cannot guarantee connecting busses. The Driver of bus 150 told the worker from TRAC that Intercape management is aware that bus 150 has a tendency to break down often. According to the driver it had breakdowns on 2015-02-05 and a mechanic repaired it. Intercape says they are Safe, Dependable and Affordable. Charlynne Daries, the consultant who sold me the tickets told me that 4 out of 10 buses breakdown. Intercape portray a Christian image, they pray on their buses and have Christian DVDs playing yet their attitude and conduct is far from being Christian. They told me that they won't arrange accommodation for me as if it was my fault that the bus had two breakdowns in one day.
