Intercape: Where Service Hits Rock Bottom

I have repeatedly endured utterly deplorable service when traveling on the Intercape bus service's Cape Town to Pretoria route over the past four months, at a frequency of approximately once every two weeks. This period has been marred by the disgraceful behavior and profound unprofessionalism exhibited by the bus drivers. The complete absence of any coherent announcements when reaching towns for rest stops is nothing short of a travesty, and communication to passengers on the upper deck is a chaotic and inept affair, with staff situated on the lower deck and the driver resorting to crude shouting to convey information. On a particular occasion, a driver recklessly initiated a reversing maneuver, forcing me to obstruct the path of the bus after I had been seated nearby, smoking a cigarette. The driver's abrupt departure attempt was both inconsiderate and unsafe. Additionally, Intercape's chronic punctuality problems have only added to the ordeal. In no uncertain terms, I emphatically implore individuals to abstain from selecting Intercape as their mode of travel, as my experiences have consistently plummeted far below even the most basic standards of service and professionalism.
