INTERCAPE - PAY BACK THE MONEY PLEASE
Don't Travel with Intercape busses. Bought X2 tickets from Bloemfontein to JHB and from JHB to Polokwane. The bus came really late in Bloemfontein. I was concerned because what about my bus that must leave at 8:15 to Polokwane. At Bloemfontein the office and the Bus driver assured me not to worry, just stay on the bus 705, they know I am on my way to Polokwane. Stopping at JHB Station , they said no stay on the bus, you get off on the next stop. We arrived at Pretoria station after 11:00 the morning, where the bus driver offloaded my luggage and said I must get off the bus. Seeing another 4 Intercape busses, I wasn't worried. When I ask where do I go and what bus is going to Polokwane. The driver rep**** the bus to Polokwane left 8:15 this morning, there is no other bus going today, I must go to the ticket office they will assist as this is not his problem that I am stranded and that the bus was late. The ticket office took my outside to "the one in charge" busy having lunch, explaining while chewing and eating, I have to take a taxi to Polokwane, as there is no other bus and/or I must wait at the station to the following day, maybe I can catch the bus to Polokwane the next morning . And/or I must make a plan to get in Polokwane - they can not refund my money I must phone the number on my ticket and sent a mail to the mailing address, to request my money back. - Stranded on a public holiday at Pretoria Station alone, I had to make a plan for alternative transport - Struggling on phone a while, then getting to Hatfield cost a R150.00 plus an alternative ticket with a shuttle R500.00 to get to Polokwane. - I did sent a mail two times already and tried to phone various times to get my money back on my ticket from JHB to Polokwane, not even asking for my extra costs etc. No one is coming back to me. - Intercape is advertising toilets inside - can't use same as it is really dirty, the bus is smelling from the outside when you load your stuff.
