Intercape's slogan reads: Safe Affordable Dependable. On a scale of 1-10, its Safety Rating is a 6 - Acceptable. As regards Affordable, Intercape rates an admirable 9, which, when pensioner discount is factored in, bounces to 10.

Sadly, its Dependability factor crashes to a woeful 1 for invariably being unacceptably late, bad trip management by drivers/crew causing excessively long stops, shoddy baggage controls & frequent vehicle problems (mostly due to sloppy maintenance) making many trips veritable nightmares.
