Intercape Cityliners not on time - no safety net!

Our bus from Caledon to Bellville arrived almost 6 hours late and no message or warning was sent about thr delay. My Godson had a connecting bus to catch in Bellville to Jhb to celebrate his 21st birthday with his family, and we risked missing the connection. I called 4 times and every time the agent who answer3d had a different story - bus broke down, bus caught in traffic in KZN, bus is 10 kms away, yet 1 hour later the bus was 131 km away. Very, very poor service delivery. They also refused to refund us for the extremely late arrival of the bus. It's been a harrowing exoeri3nce.
