Intercape buses sure are UNRELIABLE

<p>The first bus I traveled in had a pucher the second one had smoke coming from its wheel. Intercape doesn't service their buses, they are trying to cut costs and make more profit at the expense of their customers. Intercape bus 124, was scheduled to leave Pretoria on 09 October 2016 at 16:15 and arrive in Cape Town at 13:15 but that never happen.</p> <p> </p> <p>First the bus was late, it had no water to flush the toilet with, it had no water in the toilet to wash your hands with, it was dry, like there has been some kind of drought at Intercape for a while. It had no first aid kit. Then there was a delay in Johannesburg, the bus left JHB at 20:00. The bus stopped only once for refreshments at Kroonvaal. Around 7 am there was smoke coming from the wheel of the bus, the bus stopped 70 case from Lansburg. The mechanic came, we had hope that we will be leaving soon, only to find out he couldn't fix the problem. He took out the wheel, and some other parts, there was oil everywhere, and then he left, and he took the little hope we had with him. There was an old lady aged between 75-85 who was shaking, her legs were solen. We were stuck there for 5 and half hours, with no water, no food, no toilet facilities, if you wanted to use the toilet you had to go to the bush. The drivers informed us that the bus was too old and they were instructed by the fleet manager not to make stops, thats why they only took passengers who were going straight to Cape Town. My question is since the fleet manager knew that the bus had a problem, why did he take a chance of sending it for a long distace ride with passengers in it? When they sent us another bus, they did not bother to sent refreshments for their passengers who have been stuck for 5 and half hours in a hot day, hungry, thirsty and exhausted. Intercape buses might be affordale but they sure are unreliable!</p>
