Intercape Bus services ****** *******.

We booked tickets on Intercape from Bloemfontein to Paarl for last night. We paid the higher ticket price to be able to book two seats next to each other. When wanting to get on the bus there were 2 black ladies siting in our reserved seats, refusing to move. They blatantly stated that the whites can take another bus and they will not move. The driver actually entertained their ****** by offering us two other seats, not next to one another - he offerred this as a "compromise". The two ****** black woman did not pay the premium price for the ticket to be able to reserve seats, we did. Why were they not forced to move or removed from the bus? It is clear from this experience that Intercape will easily take your money for selling a service that they do not provide and also condone ****** behaviour and adopt a ****** approach themselves. If one pays a premium on a ticket to book your seats this should be honoured by the company selling the service. Race has nothing to do with this feature. The fact that race was brought into the equasion when the party, clearly in the wrong, was asked to vacate the seats that was not theirs, and this being accepted by Intercape staff clearly shows the stance this company has toward renderring a fair and unbiased service. They take your money for booking seats and then not provide the seats booked because ******s that did not pay for reserved seats cannot be managed or even removed from the bus.
