Intercape bus fares change even when your seeing a different price

Bought two tickets amounting to R1700, I requested to change the dates and subsequently those new dates had cheaper fares but no, intercape said no balance as their fare just went up for that day and the extra went to admin fees despite changing the dates a month ahead
