Intercape Atrocious Bus Service

As I am penning this review I am aboard an Intercape MAinliner from Cape Town to Johannesburg. 20 minutes after boarding this bus in Paarl, Western Cape, the bus broke down. This was 8.45 last night, 5 December. It was unclear what the problem was as the the bus driver told us we were overweight going through a weigh bridge, 30 minutes after we began oke down I exited the bus as it was stifling hot in it and then heard that the bus lights did not work. I enquired from the driver what was the way forward and he said a mechanic was on his way. He could not tell me how long the mechanic would be. We eventually left there at 11.40. No explanation given or apologies made. It is appalling that I had to pay almost R1000 and that is the level of service I get for my money. This bus service sucks. I really wish that the minister of transport can have a look at this bus service as this is not an isolated incident.
