I had to buy a ticket for a two yr old and carry him on my lap.
At this point I’m not sure if you even deserve a star. On the 26th of January I was travelling with my two year old son. Before purchasing my ticket, I first checked on their website, which says child from 36 months (three years old) pay for a normal ticket. With that said I bought one ticket fully aware that I would have to carry my little one on my lap. When I got to Midrand, New road pick up point. Their coloured lady employee with a terrible attitude, gave me a nasty look and asked where is my son’s ticket? I told her that he isn’t yet 36 months, she didn’t even ask for proof of his age, she just simply told me the rule had changed and that we needed to buy a ticket or we aren’t going on the bus. So I ended up buying a ticket. When we finished purchasing the ticket, they told me that I will have to carry him on my lap the entire trip because the bus is full. So I practically gave intercape my money for nothing because the seat that I payed for , wasn’t for us!!! And they refused to show me the new rule that states that a two year old must purchase a full ticket.
