I booked a bus (intercape) for my 2 kids 17&4 yrs old via Shoprite Amalinda on Sunday 22 June 2025 to Cape Town to depart from East London on Friday 27 June 2025. Upon booking I was asked to produce their ID numbers, which I did. Fast-forward to the day they were supposed to departure I was told they couldn't travel together as they are both minors. I wasn't let known of this detail while booking. I was also penalized R300 on top of my kids not being able to travel. I got issued a voucher of R749 instead of my R1050 which I paid.
