Horrible cross border intercape experience

On the 16th of October at 9pm we embarked on the 865 Bus to Mozambique from Johannesburg park station. On our stop in Malelane at 3am on the 17th October, as we were about to continue on our journey we were told that the bus had an oil leak. We had to wait for 6 hours for a bus coming from Johannesburg. We only left Malelane at 9am.

We booked a return ticket as we were returning on the 20th October on the 6am bus. As we boarded the bus we were horrified to learn that it was the same bus, 865. On this occasion we sat in front, the seat of my companion could not recline. On this 12 hour bus ride she sat at that seat. When we arrived at the border we asked the bus driver to assist us or if possible relocate us to other seats and he said it wasn’t possible while there were many empty seats. She had to sacrifice for me as I had class the following day and needed to rest.
