Happy customer

I bought a ticket on line for my mother inlaw to travel from Butterworth in Eastern Cape to Cape Town but there was a problem with the Taxi strike on the day she was supposed to travel. She could travel because she was told by the intercape consultant to go to umtata to get the bus as it was not going to stop there. She had no means to get to uMtata as the taxi's were on strike so she could not travel. I was so angry at intercape because why did they not block customers from buying tickets if they know there is a taxi strike and their Buses don't stop in Butterworth. And how do they expect an old lady to travel to another town to get a bus on last minutes. So I called the call center of intercape and I spoke to a consultant named Thandiswa. She was so calm and she understood my reasons for being upset. She apologized and told me that my mother inlaw can still use the ticket and it will be valid for 3yrs.she gave me the voucher numbers and reference number of the ticket. I was so happy at the end of that call. She gave excellent customer service in a professional manner. I will be using intercape services again in the near future because of Thandiswa. #WIN
