Going beyond the call of duty!!

This review comes rather late as I misplaced the information i needed to write this review and only found it now........... but better late than never!!

Intercape were wonderful with transporting my nanny and her sister on Saturday, 4th December 2017 from Cape Town to Harare, after their brother died suddenly that morning, I immediately got on the line to Intercape and booked 2 tickets with no problem at all. They boarded the bus and all went well until the early hours when the bus had an accident en route to Johannesburg. Thankfully no one was injured, but of course there was a major delay as a result, leading to them potentially missing their connecting bus to Harare and missing their brother's funeral.

Boitshepo from Customer Service came to our aid - she was an absolute super star, she made sure that she kept us informed of the progress of the journey every 2-3 hours that day, as we waited in anticipation for their arrival to Johannesburg. She made sure that the connecting bus waited a half hour for the ladies and kept the ladies informed too of what was going on. They got their bus within a minute or so of it potentially leaving and we can really thank Boitshepo for keeping in touch with all of the bus drivers and ourselves and our nanny throughout that stressful day to ensure that all went to plan - THANK YOU BOITSHEPO, you deserved a medal that day!!!!

There is a lot of negative press towards Intercape, but i can assure you that we experienced phenomenal service that day and our ladies enjoyed their journey, irrespective of the delays and unfortunate accident en route.
