Extremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience with Intercape

I want to share my extremely disappointing experience with Intercape to warn others. My partner's trip from Ladysmith to Pretoria on an Intercape bus was supposed to be a straightforward 6-hour journey, departing at 23:20 and arriving around 7:00. Unfortunately, this turned into a nightmare.

The bus departed late and then broke down after only 40 minutes of travel, leaving all passengers stranded in the middle of nowhere during the night. This situation not only caused a massive delay but also put my partner's safety at risk. The only communication from the driver was that a mechanic was on the way, yet it took more than 6 hours without any further updates or alternative arrangements for the stranded passengers.

The lack of communication and concern for passenger safety is unacceptable. This is one of the worst experiences we have ever had with any transport service. I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Intercape for their travel needs, as their service is unreliable and unsafe.

I hope Intercape takes these complaints seriously and improves their service, but for now, I cannot recommend them to anyone.
