Disgusting Unproffessional Service at Intercape Bus Services

On the 4th of November 2018 I had to take a bus from Durban South Africa to Johannesburg. I booked my ticket at Shoprite and my bus was supposed to be at 22:00 hrs at The Beach Front. I then waited for my bus times sitting with friends and had a few drinks before the bus came. upon the bus arrival there was 2 drivers who asked if we have been drinking which I confirmed. They told me that we are not allowed to get in the bus for as long as we have been drinking. We tried explaining to the drivers that we were not drunk and we did not even have alcohol in our bags. Their argument was that it is written on the tickets which we asked to be shown that policy, but the ticket had nothing. they were very rude especially the one driver who dropped off at the Durban Station. They contacted someone whom I ended up talking to and had an agreement that we should get in the bus. The 2nd driver was even lying in front of us on the phone. I feel disgusted about the way we were treated because even after that they were talking about us in the bus with everyone in it listening. Funny enough to them we got in the bus and slept until the first stop. If the staff is so arrogant and unprofessional then there is a huge problem at Intercape. Their buses really need professional staff. This was so disappointing.
