Could've just used a plane instead. Would've cost same, but quicker.

I use to prefer Intercape even when it is always the most expensive. I have used other bus services and understood that better service overall comes at a higher price. But they have lost my trust now. I booked 2 Tickets from colesburg to Bellville. Earlier in the day before departure they notify via sms the bus will be 30min late and original departure time was at 00:45am. So that puts new departure time at 01:15. Keeping in mind that intercape busses stop at colesburg every 15min two at a time. By 02:30 i am ****ed and annoyed of asking every intercape bus "is this my bus"" ? So i phoned the office by 3am, only to find out that we have missed the bus and it passed 20min ago. I was told that the tickets are forfeited, the full R1100, and ill have to buy new ones which ended up costing me another R800. How can intercape notify you via sms about their very inaccurate delays but they can't tell u your bus numbef, update you on the delay, sms you when bus have arrived or is about to leave and you are not present according to the digital log they have. I was willing to pay the extra but now ill just take the cheapest bus instead, atleast i know ii will be getting ******* service instead of paying more and still getting *******.
