BUS UNROADWORTHY - HOSPITALITY LACKS!!!!
15May2015 I was travelling with an interxcape bus to JHB with my friends. It was our first time using the intercape bus, after I successfully convienced my friends to use the good looking intercape bus.

The minute the bus left DBN Station @ 08:40 you could hear/feel that someting was wrong with it. The bus was slow and was refusing to changears at some stage (automatically). Just after Montrose stop, the bus failed and the driver had to pull over! there was lots of smoke. when the drivers opened the engen they discovered that bus had NO WATER AT ALL as a result they had to fill it with 2x 25 litres of water. even after doing such it refused to start.

Intercape claims their buses get inspected before they leave for any journey - hence I found it very disturbing that the very same intercape bus didnt have water in it halfway to JHB. We had to wait 2hrs for another bus which had 23 spaces in it (meaning some passengers would have to stay behind). the drivers didnt even have the system of controlling the boarding of passengers to the new bus, hence we were pushing each other like in a metrorail train.

Now I know what people mean when they say you rather use the cheap buses!!!
