Bus ride from hell

On Friday 22nd I boarded an intercape bus from Paarl to Johannesburg at 19:15 scheduled to arrive in Johannesburg at 14:35.

Having paid R880 for a sleepliner coach. 1. This 18 hour bus did not have ports to charge phones 2. The bus burst the diesel pipe within 7hours of our ride and we had a 4 hour delay since we had to wait in the middle of nowhere for a bus coming from Colesberg.

Some of us were unreachable on the phones and we couldn't speak to our loved ones. The alternate bus arrived in 4 hours, it was filthy and the stinge coming from the toilet was unbearable.

Being 4 months pregnant I couldn't take this inconvenience, the smell and the extended bus ride, as a result I hyper ventilated, threw up and passed out.

Thanks to the fellow passengers who made sure I came to, and the driver who gave me his food as he thought that my condition was due to hunger.

Intercape your adverts are a big lie, and from where I'm sitting I dread going back to Paarl after the holidays. I write this two days after the incident as I just found the strength to even talk.

I am very disgusted by your service.
