Bus broken down in middle of nowhere = missed birthday

<p>Hi<br /> <br /> I travelled on the Intercape bus from Bellville to Bloemfontein on Thursday 12 May.<br /> <br /> Shortly after midnight, the bus came to a standstill as it was overheating apparently.<br /> <br /> After waiting for almost 3 hours, a mechanic came to try and fix the bus.<br /> <br /> Eventually, the replacement bus came from Colesburg at almost 8am on 13 May.<br /> <br /> I only got to Bloemfontein late afternoon on 13 May.<br /> <br /> I bought that specific bus ticket so that I could be with my sister on her birthday - 13 May - not to waste the entire day sitting on a broken bus in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, without being communicated much by the bus drivers.<br /> <br /> This is completely unacceptable.<br /> <br /> I expect to have my ticket refunded as a matter of urgency.<br /> <br /> I also expect to be compensated for my wasted leave day, which is a cost of R2500 for the day.<br /> <br /> I expect feedback on this matter urgently.<br /> <br /> Many thanks<br /> Fidelia</p>
