Bus Breaks Down & Passengers Are Not Informed Of the Issue

<p>I had booked an Intercape bus from Pietermaritzburg to Johannesburg today for a 12h10 departure. The bus arrived late, fine that wasn't that big a deal. However, it was stiflingly hot inside the bus, the Aircon wasn't working. When we got to our refreshment stop, the passengers got off and went about their business. When we returned to the bus, a driver Informed a few passengers of an Aircon malfunction. The rest of us were in our seats waiting for the bus to leave. After minutes of waiting we realized that the bus wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. I'm typing this from my phone while we wait for an alleged technician to come sort us out. The problem is, we don't know if the actual bus has a problem or if it's just the Aircon?</p> <p> </p> <p>It's also frustrating because people are traveling with kids in this heat. People like me also need to take public transportation to our final destination when the bus arrives in Johannesburg. By the time we arrive, it will be well past a safe time for such. I only ever use Intercape to travel anywhere but I'm bitterly disappointed today because I had things to do when I got to my destination. This is a major setback & I'm annoyed that the drivers didn't see fit to inform us or apologize.</p>
