Bus 730 From Jhb to Mthatha (29 March 2024)

Good morning,

This is a formal complaint for the intercape bus 730 currently on route to Mthatha from Johannesburg (Midrand pick up).

Firstly, many of the passengers have been calling your consultants and being insulted by them instead of assisting us.

Secondly, not only did the bus arrive late at the Midrand station but it left jhb incredibly late. We exited the premise and yet returned for a reason unknown to us as passengers.

Then when we reached PMB we stopped for about an hour, with no communication from the drivers who were having a ball outside the bus instead of communicating with the passengers.

The bus is still on route as I type this (09:40) coming from a drop off in Tsolo. This bus never broke down or had any issues apart from the disgusting toilet wrench we have been suffocating with and smelling throughout the trip. This delay is uncalled for - and undermines the sacredness of this day for many Christians on board who were rushing to Church.

In 2019 I wrote a long email on the terrible service of your staff - it is beyond disgusting to have to note that in the last 5 years since I took my last bus with intercape from jhb to Mthatha, a similar terrible experience occurs. This tells me you have not, in the slightest worked on improving your service skills in 5 years.

One would wonder if you would treat a bus full of white people in this same way.
