Bad Intercape bus drivers in 2 consecutive days.

Yho I had a bad experience with Intercape bus drivers on two consecutive days. I was booked to take a bus @ 00h45 on the 16 Dec 2022 from the Intercape offices in Pietermaritzburg. I was taking a bus to Gqeberha,E.C and was going to depart from PMB at 00h45 to E.L. 11h00 then take a bus from E.L. (13h30) to P.E.(18h40). On the 1st night 3 buses passed and all said that the names of the 3 passenger (me and 2 guys) were not on their lists. The drivers of the 1st bus (at 01h45) said if the names of the passengers were not on the list, check the next bus. The 2nd bus came, our names were still not on the list, I asked the drivers to check our names on their system as they had a tablet to find out about our names from the other buses, they were annoyed and said we'll need to check the other buses coming and couldn't even check for me where the buses were. The driver was furious because we were asking questions and I told him we have a right to ask questions when we are not sure. At the time I was the only female standing on the side of the road and there were very nice taxi drivers who assisted me to find charge my phone (it was off) and find out when the bus was going to arrive. The consultant told me the bus would arrive in a few minutes. At this time we were tired, hungry and feeling unsafe as there were a lot of street people wandering around. The 4th bus arrived after 2am, the driver asked for our names and they were all on the list. The driver then told us we were supposed to take the buses that already left as this bus now was full of passengers. They, as the drivers had decided that in the bus that we were supposed to be in, to put 7 passengers from Ladysmith and the drivers from the 3 buses that left us knew about this arrangement. We were furious and phoned the service centre and reported what had happened. We had to use our cellphones to make the calls, when I ran out of airtime and asked the consultant to call me back, as I was not finished talking to her, she gave me a missed call and didn't phone again. We (the 3 passengers) asked the drivers what was going to happen as we wanted to go as we had paid for our tickets. They did not know what to do and while going back and forth on the phone with the consultant, the decision was made for a shuttle to come from Durban and take us 3 to the 1st stop where passengers would get off, which was Kokstad. The drivers wanted to leave with the other passengers and we told them they were going to wait with us, as we were not going to let the 4th bus leave without us, by this time we didn't think the would come back for us. After an hour a shuttle arrived and drove us to Kokstad. I emailed Intercape services and got an SMS with a reference number for my querry. I then phoned the Intercape call centre as I was worried about the connecting bus in E.L. and the 4 hour delay, but the consultant told me after lodging a complaint I had to wait 7 working days. I the decided to deal with it when I got to E.L. When the bus got to E.L. the shuttle had left, because of the 4 hour delay and I was taken to a bus going to Cape Town via Port Elizabeth. We left E.L. only to wait for the driver fill up diesel at a nearby diesel place for an hour or more. He never explained to us what was going on, or that this would cause a delay, but was chatting very loudly with the other driver. He never called out the names of the stops, especially when people had to get off. We are not all fami**** with the routes that the buses take. As I didn't sleep since my other bus trip, I kept falling asleep, worried about not sleeping and not seeing that my destination was reached. As we were about to get to P.E. my driver wanted to know where we were as I asked him to wait at Greenacres and we'd be there by 21h30. Because of the 1hour delay we arrived in P.E. later and I thought the bus was going to the train station in town, my phone was off. I told my driver to go to the train station as he said he was in Greenacres for an hour already. There was no explanation about how we could charge our phones, until another passenger literally went under our bus seats to help us (with other passengers) with putting our chargers. The drivers never went, not even once, up and down the passage, to see how we were doing. I asked the driver of the bus when we'd get to the bus station and he said the bus wouldn't go there, only goes to Greenacres. I had to ask the driver to go to Greenacres and asked the driver if the bus why he didn't tell us there was only one stop as not every one knew Greenacres was the only stop. I had to pay the driver double fare for the double travelling that he did and I'm an unemployed student. You need to teach your employees about how to treat and work with passengers, we all pay for your services and treatment from them is very, very bad.
