On 18 Sept 2016 an Intercape Bus crashed into my kid's car at the Waterfront in Cape Town. The bus was driving in the left hand lane of a circle and just came over to their side (right side). They hooted and shout and the driver just said they were in his blind spot and he didn't see them. The bus just left. The kids didn't have any money to let the car towed in and when they called the call centre they were told that its not their problem if they don't have money or insurance. The next day somebody at the Call Centre said the bus wasn't suppose to be at the Waterfront and he was there *******. They went to see Head Office in Cape Town and was told that its not their (Intercape) problem. A claim was submitted for repairs in the amount of R30 000 but Intercape only offers R18000. The reason they give is that any roadowner should drive careful next to a bus! The kids are without transfer since then and my daughter's job is a nail technician who needs to do clients nails at their homes. She is without an income since then. They have difficulty to take the kids to school. They don't have the money to fix the car. We feel it is VERY VERY bad of them. They never even asked if they are ok or can they be of any help. The kids don't earn much and also hasn't even got a home.
