A string of unresolved complaints
I used to love intercape with all my heart and now I keep on hoping they will do better each time I book their bus. First was when I booked a bus and came two hours later on a rainy night at a very dark place which I also feared for my safety, there was no explaination at all until I called to ask where is the bus, this also happened with my daughter when she was going to school, at least it wasnt raining that day. Second was when I booked for me and my pensioner mom and we realised that we cannot book according to seat numbers and people seat where they wanna seat and people travelling together who are picked up on the last spot have to seat separated, well this was a minor issue but I asked that they look into it. A blow was when I booked a bus for my cousin sister who was travelling with an infant and an autistic toddler which the seats were paid for and upon booking I wrote a note below on the box that asks if you have a special need to bring to their attention, when the bus got there Lo and behold my cousin has to seat at a different seat from her infant because of the no seat number booking (random seats) and the passenger on the one empty seat when the driver asked them to exchange their seat they refused and said they paid and can seat wherever they wanted to and its true it is their right to seat wherever they want if the bus is not controlling that like they did pre-covid. Recently this past week booked for my daughter to come home for school holidays, when she got there she was told her ticket was cancelled reasons unknown to us but they blame computicket, the lady there at PE intercape offices said her name is Muriel, told us that it is not their business to help with the cancelled tickef we should take it up with Computicket, when we asked for the manager she said she was the manager, when we asked for someone superior to her she said there is no one superior to her, our problem with her was her attitude and with intercape is that there is a working contract between intercape as a service provider and computicket as ticket seller contracted to Computicket, should intercape not be at a better position to contact computicket aboutsuch emergencies rather than taking us clients from pillar to post? I know need to start searching for a new bus to be loyal to instead of this ******** service provider. (I am the one who booked for all of these people mentioned above, I have also sent my complaints to them but only once did they do a follow up on my complaints... now O have lost R840 I dont even know who to take it with for me to be reimbursed as I had to buy another ticket for my daughter with borrowed money
