Terrible service from these people, in spite of our long relationship with them

On 13 April 2026, pipe burst in the wall of our upstairs bathroom. This was accepted by cash settlement On 19 May the same pipe leaked again, this time causing water to leak into an electrical switch next to our DB board. The plumber came but wanted to do put odd tiles in to repair and we were not happy with this.

Despite repeated WhatsApp messages, phone calls and requests for feedback to discuss further, we received only automated replies. We were left without water for nearly 2 weeks plus because of the leak on the switch by the DB board we had to switch off electricity as well . . WE are both in our 70's and it was terrible without water plus electricity and Integrisure just ignoring us.

On 29 May, after 10 days without response we decided to repair the pipe ourselves at a cost of R5217. Eventually on 3 June Integrisure offered us R1519. The level of service terrible. The communication was pathetic, and totally unhelpful. We want to cancel all policies there on our 3 other houses, but it seems we have to give 31 days notice. Integrisure is not a member of SA Insurance Association (SAIA) so in spite of us reporting Integrisure, SAIA couldn't help us.
