SHOCKINGLY BAD TREATMENT
I had the misfortune of having my vehicle, a 2013 Ford Ranger ****** from my property on 23 May 2015. I submitted the claim on 25 May 2015. Having to deal with the trauma of a home invasion and a ****** vehicle i was now faced with a process that was extremely delayed and was dragged out for over a month. I was stuck without transport whilst waiting for the Insurers to sort out all their delays. Eventually they held to ransom because of documentation that was not submitted by the claims investigator, which i now had to source. I was informed that the claim will be settled however not at the amount i was insured for but i was paying a premium for that amount. Now i get a slap in the face and the insurer then sends me a letter of cancellation of my policy. I cannot believe this, they make one feel like a ******** that had ones own vehicle ******!!! I was insured against these unfortunate events and paid for that cover, i did not ASK for any of this to happen to me or my family. This treatment is completely unacceptable. I had every intention of retaining SANTAM`s services through Integrisure. I will be spreading word of this on all social media.
