Integrisure - Why You Should Not
Stay far away from this broker. I moved to this insurer after being 16 years with my previous insurer, they were recommended by a friend (who also left them funny enough 2 months ago). Integrisure came in 40 % less on the premiums. I put my first claim after 6 months with them for my washing machine. The claim was rejected (ONLY CLAIM OF MINE EVER REJECTED BY ANY INSURER) based on the result by the service provider indicating this was wear and tear. Wear and tear would indicate over time. This incident occurred on the day 30th July which was when I logged the claim. Therefore, the bearing would seize if the drum was spinning while in a cycle, that’s when the machine stopped, however I am not the expert. Their service provider was in my house for 5 mins on the 2nd July. Pushed the drum in and out. The machine was not taken away for proper diagnostic or checks. Only checked the back without putting the machine on or running a cycle. After calling in on 6th July afternoon as I had not received any feedback, I was then told that the service provider has 24hrs to submit their report (it’s now 48hrs later). So, I then had to call again on 8th July where I was told that the claim would not be processed as this was not caused by "Insured Perils”. Things i did not appreciate about this broker. 1. Lack of communication on status. 2. Sense of urgency to drive the service provider. 3. No proper investigation to validate service providers findings.
I recommend for you future customers that when Integrisure service providers are sent through to diagnose a cause of an issue, that they do proper analysis. Lesson i learnt, "Sometimes cheaper isn't always best".
