Vehicle ****** off Integra Centurion showroom floor -

Carien Deyes, Procurement Manager of Integra Group Head Office, suggested that I leave the vehicle on their showroom floor in Centurion for 2 weeks, in a safe area. Integra Motor Group is an IDA approved Blue-Chip Dealer, 1 out of a 100 in Africa. I delivered the vehicle on 01 August 2017 with all its extra’s (+- R100 000-00) at Integra Motors, Centurion. I was well aware of the fact that they are an IDA approved Blue-Chip Dealer and accepted that the vehicle would be in good and safe hands. Mr Leon Dirker, a salesman of Integra Group Centurion, completed an “Agreement of Sale: Consignment Stock”, a Disclosure by Customer and an “Estimate time schedule to conclude sale”. (see attached) I was asked to sign the documentation which was given to me on 1 August 2017 and told that all documentation will be handed to and signed by the Manager Mr Deon Grobler, if accepted. Both Mr Leon Dirker (salesman) and Mr Deon Grobler (manager), the persons I dealt with above are not working for Integra Motors Centurion anymore but can still be contacted. I had not informed my own Insurance that the vehicle was with Integra Motors Group as I was assured that my vehicle was in a safe environment and the Insurance was not mentioned to me again by Mr Leon Dirker. I was informed that Integra Motors has insurance in place for consignment vehicles subject to the insurer’s terms and conditions, but did not receive the signed documentation from Integra Group, I did not see this as finalised. Integra motor Group ensured me that the vehicle was safe, as Scorpion Risk Services provide their guards, security K9’s, and armed response (Refer to Riaan Erasmus – Owner) Integra has anti-theft metal poles in concrete, strong locked gate, patrolling guards, external safety lights etc. Integra Motors did not sign the agreement in my presence because it was left for Mr Deon Grobler to sign off the agreement. According to me the vehicle was left there in good hands for exposure to the market. My vehicle was ****** on 13 August 2017 at +-17h30 from the premises of Integra Motor Group Centurion. It has been 20 months and there has been no feedback on this matter. I have tried to contact Mr Vernon Wilken numerously with no joy. He did not return emails, calls etc.....Mr Riaan Erasmus of Scorpion Risk came to see me and up to date I was not able to get hold of him again or get feedback about the Ex-gratia payment he spoke about. My Insurance declined my claim. I need answers from Mr Vernon Wilken Integra Motors and Riaan Erasmus Scorpion Risk Regards

Good day

We would like to comment as follows on your review
1 We apologize for your vehicle  been ****** .As you are aware there was security on site
hence your direct contact with the security company
2 There was forced entry to the premises .Poles broken out
3 Our  agreement with you clause 12 INSURANCE Stipulates as follows
12.1 I am aware that the vehicle  must be insured by myself the owner until such time as the vehicle is sold
12.2 I am aware that it is my responsibility to notify my insurance of a change in risk while the vehicle is parked at a dealer
Your insurance declined your claim based on the fact that you never disclosed to them that the vehicle was at a dealer to be sold as per clause 12 .
We specifically gave you a written agreement as per 12. above .Were we advised you to inform your insurance .Which you declined to do
Despite  the above mentioned .Not acknowledging any wrong doing we still lodged a claim against our insurance to try and assist.
This claim was also repudiated due to you not informing your insurance in terms of clause 12.1and 12.2
I have never received any direct mail from you.You did once however contacted me directly regarding this matter. We had a lengthy discussion and i advised you to lodge a claim directly against Scorpio risk services
they have insurance cover for this instance .We never heard from you again.

Please feel free to contact our office if you need assistance with the claim we are more than willing to help
