Dishonest and threatened me. Stay away, asp if you are female!

I took my vehicle to Integra Motors Roodepoort on 2 July 2018. The arrangement was that they would try selling my car on my behalf in the 2 weeks I went on holiday, but in the case of the car not being sold after the 2 weeks I would collect it. I made it clear that I had to sell the vehicle before the end of July as I was immigrating.

After not hearing back from Integra after the 2 weeks, I emailed Carien to arrange to collect my vehicle, but she mailed back saying she has a buyer, and that they are awaiting for the payment to clear. This was great news. A week later I contacted her again to follow up. Carien said everything would be finalized before the end of the week, and that I shouldn’t worry.

After that I didn’t hear back from her in a week. (She was in hospital). She said my car had not been sold / delivered yet as they are waiting on papers from the buyer to approve his finance (Which to my knowledge you do before the person transfers money to them)

Since I was getting concerned about their contradictory responses I wrote a report on Hellopeter. An hour later Vernon, the CEO of Integra motors called me. He told me he would help me if I change the 1 star review to a 4 star, but at the same time he told me how undesirable my car is, and offered to pay me R30K less in cash than what we agreed on in my contract. (Contradictory to Carien telling me that they sold a car like mine in just 4 days a week before, and that I won’t struggle to sell my car as it has low mileage and is in great condition.)

I called Carien on the 2nd of August to let her know I got a response from someone at Integra saying they won’t be able to sort in out in the next to day like I have asked for as the buyers mom had now passed away. She didn’t know anything about it but said she’d find out and call me back. An hour later I got a call from her screaming at me, saying I should remove the Hellopeter complaint, otherwise she won’t give me my car back. She also said there would be consequences if I wrote any further bad reviews. I asked if she would be willing to repeat what she said while I record it, as it is ******* to hold my car since it is still in my name. She then said its fine I must come fetch after which she hung up.

I hope by sharing my experience it would prevent other people, especially women from having to go through the same ordeal. These people are dishonest and tried to scare /threatened me out of sharing my experience.
