Can you trust a Garage that changed manager 5 times in 6 months? gave you your car as fixed 4 times and had to return car next day?

Some 6 months ago my sister in law purchased an Opel Zafira from the Helderkruin Branch of Integra Motors. the Sales Manager Mervin was very likeable and made us feel comfortable to buy the car

Within 1 week we started to have problems with over heating, we returned the car, a few days later we wetre told the car was fixed, again after a short while we had to return the car because not only was it still overheating but a warning light came on.

The entire engine was opened and according to Integra Motors the car was fixed at a cost of some 45K from our warranty.

By this time we had met two different garage managers within 2 months, each one had a different take on the problem.

We took the car home with some misgivings, first when the Owner was asked about a Courtesy vehicle he was reluctant , he gave us an old 2 door Corsa Bahkie.

Within a few weeks the car broke down again, this time a Warning light would come on and the vehicle would lose all power, stop the car start again but would fail afte 1 kilometer.

When we returned the car the Owner had to be persuaded by the Garage Manager (third in 4 months} and Sales manager to give us a respectable courtesy car, he seemed willing to send us away without a car except for the intervention he would have given us didly squat. we were now very worried about dealing with this company but we felt we had to give them one more chance to fix the vehicle.

Integra motors kept the car for over 4 months , we had to call to find out the situation, but we were driving a comfortable courtesy car so we gave them a chance. during that time we also recieved a notice from GM that our model car was being recalled for a fire harrard.

Last week Thursday out of the blue we were told that our car was fixed by GM in Fourways, and we should come pick up our car, during the time we used the Courtesy car we had a scratch on the door which we accepted as our liability . however we were unprepared to pay the 2K when we returned the courtesy car on Friday last. we asked for time until month end to pay the 2K.

We were shocked and dissapointed by the hostile manner of the owner towards our request, we accept that he was within his rights to want his payment before releasing our car but in light of the patience we had had with this company we we expected better.

He was hostile and refused our request while saying i must leave on my two legs ,get his cash and then i could have our vehicle.

The garage manager (5th one in 7 months) seemed a good guy and bargained with the ownwer to help us with a courtesy car until month end, the owner was livid but agreed, we were given an old Fiat Uno which promptly broke down twice on the road home.

After this last experience we told Integra Motors that we will not take back the car and want annother car in its place , we felt that inasmuch as our Warranty was now dependent on Integra Motors we could not trust this company any longer, 5 managers in 7 months!!

We have sent our request to Integra Motors, no response so far except they picked up the Uno which they had to kick start to take away.

Would you trust such a company again? the sales people are nice but the Owner who makes all final decisions ,we will never trust again, all his staff seem to be afraid of him, no one has a good word for him.

We do not trust this Company and so should you.

Of course he was within his rights but his attitude of hostility and uncaringness told me that we could not trust this company any more .
