Waiting for 2 years!! Nothing has been done!
<p>I have registered for my travel course with Intec in April 2015, which I have paid for in advance. I only received my study material in June 2015. I've started my N4 assignments and half way through I realized there's pages and modules left out in my study material. I have been in contact with a few different employees at Intec to whom I had emailed and phoned constantly to assist me with these missing study material. I finally had to post the incomplete booklets back to Intec, Cape Town as they wanted proof. I waited months for Intec to assist me, I constantly phoned and emailed but no one ever came back to me. I was then unable to complete my first assignments and exams. I then completed a deregistration form and was told I should wait 90 days (from November 2015) for Intec to refund me. No answer regarding my study material, I am just being ignored. I finally received a letter from Intec stating that they will only refund me 50% of my total studies. This was completely unacceptable, as the reason why I am cancelling is not my fault, but rather the College’s. I have wasted my money on endless phone calls and postage of my study material. <br />I want my money back so I can study at a different college. I wrote 3 complaints on Hellopeter. Intec came back to me after I've posted my second complaint and offered me a refund of R 10 462.50; this was on the 8th of July 2016. They've informed me that I will wait 90 days to receive my refund. Once again, they keep ignoring my emails! All I want is my money back! It is now 2017, almost 2 years since I've registered and still nothing has been done!!!<br />And every time I write about my complaint; Intec replies and says student services will phone me. A consultant then phones me just to tell me that there is nothing they can do because the delay is with the financial team in KwaZulu Natal. The financial team asked me three times so far my bank statement (which by the way also cost me money) but still no refund???! Just give me my money back!! Student no: ********** 4724</p>
