OVERALL BAD SERVICE - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STUDIES @ INSTITUTION

I app**** for a company bursary last year and requested information about the course I planned to study. I was provided with a invoice and thereafter received a discounted invoice. Payment was made on the initial invoice as per bursary application, which now meant that my fees were over paid.

In January I confirmed whether fees was paid and requested an account statement. As per the accounts clerk, "college registration" has taken priority. I received my statement almost 3 weeks later, which reflected a credit amount. I requested the statement to reflect the overpaid amount, less the course fees and exam fees and the balance to show a credit, which is the amount to be refunded to my company.

In this time, I have exceeded my work telephone bill, sent multiple emails and received unsatisfactory responses. One phone call from Intec, apologizing for the inconvenience caused.

I received a letter stating my course fees, exam fees and the credit due. I have requested a refund and a form was sent to me to complete.

Each company has their own rules, policies and procedures and as per Intec's refund process "All refunds that maybe due in terms hereof shall only be payable 90 (ninety) days after the said refund has been approved by the National Credit Manager."

I work in a high demanding financial environment, with very tight deadlines and service level agreements, with emphasis on doing your job properly.

For such a big institution, you need to re-look at your turnaround time for queries and escalations. Your after sales customer service is pathetic. There seems to be a very relaxed attitude & culture of I received payment, so this student can wait.

I am bound by my company for an agreement of R26,865 and nobody seems to care or show any sense of speed & urgency that this student could possibly incur financial implications because of the above.

I really wouldn't recommend anyone to study at your institution.
