NO RESPONSE-INTEC CAUSING DAMAGE TO CREDIT RECORD

After requesting an immediate course cancellation due to contract breaching and utterly bad service from Intec, I received the following terms in order to cancel:<br> <br> o 80% of Full Course Value<br> <br> I had already paid the deposit and a few installments. I had not submitted any assignments and I wanted to return the books. In the contract, it is stipulated that the cancellation fee is required for study material, postage/courier costs and administration costs. I do not understand how a cancellation fee of almost R15,000.00 is reasonable. Due to these ridiculous findings I sent through a Motion for Reconsideration. Shakier Achmat confirmed on the 9th of September 2015 that he would give feedback within 24 hours of the Review Committee Meeting, which was held on the 10th of September 2015. To date I have not received any feedback, and in the meantime Intec is ruining my credit record. It seems that the only option is to consult with the Department of Higher Education and to take this matter to the Small Claims Court.<br> <br> I would urge anyone considering studying through Intec to seriously rethink. They have only caused problems and stress for me.<br>
