Intec College - customer service non existent

Considering they've been around for ages, I am disgusted by the service (or non service) they offer for peoples' money. During March of 2020 we enrolled our son for an 18 month business course and was told that it could even be completed in 12 months, if the student feels ready. In November 2020 exams were cancelled because of the lockdown and this was understood. After submitting all assignments throughout 2020, my son never received a single acknowledgement of receipt for any of them. On 1 February this year I took my time to call them and enquired what the status of his course was. I spoke to a consultant by the name of Mandisa who could only find results for 2 out of about 14 assignments. She requested their back office to lookup results of the others and I was promised a turnaround of 48 hours. Yesterday on 15 February I once again had to call them to enquire about feedback and was told that the query has not yet been resolved. Lady by the name of Somaya logged another request for the results to be looked up. Since my last request has really fallen onto deaf ears, I asked her to email me the case number - she promised to and never did; and I demanded, as a customer, that her superior give me a call so that I could express my dissatisfaction to him and request that some extra effort be put into my request - Damian Pillay never called.

I paid R20,000 for this course and what did we get in return? 1. Electronic study material and assignment instructions. 2. No correspondence / acknowledgment whatsoever, we had to call to find out that November 2020 exams were cancelled / postponed. 3. No acknowledgement of receipt and no results of assignments. 4. Exceptionally poor service when requesting information. 5. Customer feedback non-existent. 6. No structure within their organisation because if there were, one would never had to request or escalate things.

I am disgusted by the service and credibility of Intec College mainly because they have been around for many decades and to take my hard earned money and give nothing in return is just wrong. They are fooling around with the future of our youngsters while enriching themselves with our money. How many of us are they doing this to?
