FAILING SYstem

<p>Hi there<br />Last year Sept/October I registered my brother to write his matric with Intec. Once I signed him up I was told it would cost R8000.00 for him to get his study material, register with Intec and for him to get extra lessons online. I was also informed that he'll have to go to the center where he is going to write his exams to register as they don't register with the Dept. of Education and so he went and registered. We did all that and he paid an extra R500 for registration. He recieved his study material from intec and started attending classes at Reneilwe Adult Centre Mamelodi East. He started writing exams in May until they were paused because of the strike in PTA. He went to the school to find out when the exams will resume, he was told that exams will resume in when school re-open. When schools re-opened, he went back to the school to find out again and he was told that they are waiting on the department of Education and we've been waiting ever since. I tried calling the Department of Education and I was told that he was not registered on the system (What??) next thing he gets his results and he failed some of his subjects because he was marked absent and we are told he is not the only one because NOONE informed them that exams have resumed so I have 2 problems now. How can he fail when no one knew when exams resume and how was he allowed to write if he is not registered?? Please, I need answers. I could not have wasted all this money and my brother could not have wasted his time. Now the Department of Education is not responding.. I need answeres form Intec and the Department of Education.</p>
