INTEC !!!!!!!!! Why don’t you tell people the truth when they enrol for the amended senior certificate? So that people don’t spend almost R 10 000 just for books This is how INTEC lie to you When you phone INTEC to enrol for your senior certificate they are glad to help you they send you all the papers you need to fill in, they even give options on how to pay. Then they tell you to enrol at the department of education after enrolling at the department of education you must scan and send them the slip to prove that you enrolled then you pay the deposit or full payment depending on what was your arrangements and send them the proof. After this they tell you it will take 21 work days before you receive you study material" this is a lie". Oh yes before I forget they also tell you, you don’t do any assignments you only study and write your exam. On arrival of your study materiel "long after 21 working days" you notice they are talking about assignments that must be send to them by post this will make up 25 % of your final mark on each subject, now you are confused you phone INTEC they spin you whatever story. So just to be safe you go and do the assignments “that took up a lot of you study time ”and you send them to INTEC. On arrival at the location where you write exam you get a paper with all the subjects that you are writing with all the dates with also a new student number, so now you are wondering why did INTEC send me a student card with a student number and told me I must use this card every time I write a subject. Let me tell you the truth You don’t need INTEC to enrol for you amended senior certificate “but INTEC won’t tell you this because they only see the money coming in. You enrol with the department of basic education to write you amended senior certificate you don’t send any assignments to the department of education they will not mark it, when writing exams your pappers will be send to the allocated marking stations of the department of education. You don’t get your results or your amended senior certificate from INTEC you get it from the person who enrolled you of the department of education. This is how INTEC cheats you they charge you nearly R 10 000 for your books Instead you could have avoided INTEC Enrol with the department of education in the district where you live and buy the books you need at a book store or from takealot.com. You can even phone a local school to find out what books are the matrix using because those are the books that you need, your exam papers look exactly the same as any other matric student’s paper. To buy the books yourself is still a little bit expensive let’s say between R2000 and R 3000 But it is still a lot cheaper then R10 000, And if you don’t have R 2000 to R 3000 at once buy one or two books per month until you have all the books you need then enrol for your amended senior certificate Please don’t see INTEC as your only option.
