Gapcover

<p>I just want to worn people that has Gapcover by Insuremed, that this company dont want to pay. I went for an ankle operasion, before the operasion the Dokter informed me that he is asking more than what my medical aid would be willing to pay, so I said ok I will first take out Gapcover and get that sorted then book for the operation. Got Gapcover from Insuremed and they informed me I had to wait for 2 weeks befor submitting any claims. Waited 2 weeks went for the operasion, medical aid paid everything exept R4500 to the Dokter. The cost of the surgery was over R80 000. Insuremed then wanted everything, hopital, dokter bills, authorization numbers. All of that for R4500 outstanding only to the dokter that they was to pay but came with every excuse you can think of not to pay. Wilma Smuts told me in a email when I asked if they cant get the authorization number from the medical aid ( ek is nie julle makelaar nie) very nice people there. Then we were informed via email, they just need the authorization number to finalise the claim. Send it then they started after all the mails phoning getting hospital reports with a 2 year exclusion , now they want 2 years of reports and dokters info, so be warned this people dont pay out their claims, we have been taken for fools long enough, so my only option is to pay the dokter myself, that is Gapcover for you</p>
