Good morning,

Thank you for your message. We valued input and feedback from our clients.

You currently have a warranty with us which covers you for mechanical failure on your vehicle. In order for your claim to be paid out the component must be a covered component and it must have failed mechanically.

In an instance where there are two or more failures at the same time ; only the higher of the two is paid out. Please refer to your wording : Definitions ; specifically page 4: Two in One failure.

As the repair to your fuel pump was the higher of the two, this is the amount that was duly authorised.

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused and please do not hesitate to contact us should we be able to further assist.

Kind regards,

InsureAfrica
