STAY AWAY FROM INSURE AFRICA - GENRIC INSURANCE

We bought a vehicle from Mit-Mak motors in October 2022, its a high end vehicle driven on weekends and special occasions.

Mit-Mak motors sold me 1. mechanical warrantee plan, 2. pothole protection plan, 3. scratches and dent repairs, 4. courtesy drive plan. by #insure_africa #genric insurance.

I have since tried to claim from the scratches and dents cover +/-2 months ago, Insure africa rejected my claim and it was only after the intervention of Annemarie from Mit-Mak that the claim was authorised.

My vehicle is now in the workshop and again Insure Africa is refusing to help. I have approached Mit-Mak for assistance as they were the ones to sell me all these insurances in the name of peace of mind and I am yet to receive assistance. or the peace of mind promised to me when spending 10s and thousands of rands on Value added services. it seems these people will go out of their way not to assist and I am now left with a R20000 bill which I have to pay out of pocket.

I understand I bought a second hand car from Mit-Mak, hence I bought the many insurance products they offered to me to avoid being in this situation. I have bought from Mit-Mak before and this is the first time I am actually using these insurance policies they sold us. I am not finding any joy, Please be careful when dealing with these guys.
