DO NOT TAKE THESE PEOPLE'S WARRANTY
<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p><br />When i purchased my bike cash i was offered this warranty with a peace of mind that should anything fail in the compounds of the policy that i would be covered.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />The bike since had a oil leak from the valve gasket and hence sent to BMW. I received a quote and advised them to contact Insureafrica. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />InsureAfrica then responded to say they do not cover oil leaks or damage caused by oil leaks which was not mentioned in the policy i signed. I then responded on this basis an requested the full service history which was provided by BMW. They then sent an Assessor to advise and based on the feedback provided they will not cover the gasket as the engine is not being overhauled which again is not stated in the policy that the engine needs to be overhauled for the cover to kick in.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I have done nothing to result in the leak as its not a serviceable part hence a mechanical failure. These Warranties by this insurer is designed to protect the insurer against claims rather than the consumer as they make up their own rules as they go.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />I will be seeking legal advise on this case as this is ****************.</p> <p> </p> <p><br /> </p>

Please be advised, you have purchased a warranty which covers you against mechanical failure. Our wording is very transparent and informative. Preventative maintenance and servicing (including serviceable items) are not covered by this warranty.
