Be Carefull, its not insurance, its only a service to help you claim from municipalities.
Be carefull of InsureAfrica and MotoringGuru. The plans they sell do not guarantee any payouts.
They will use excuses like the road you were on is a SANRAL road and fighting SANRAL in court for the money is too expensive so they wont pay out.

With reference to the various email correspondences, please note that the product you had was a service product - not a policy/insured product. The product was for a provision that in the event you hit a pothole, the product would assist you to claim against the relevant municipality. In some cases, the funds are advanced to you and then a claim instituted against the relevant agency/municipality.
However, with respect to this specific claim - there were two challenges with it:
1. it was for three tyres/rims and the product only assist a claim for two tyres/rims on the same side of the vehicle from "a pothole"; and
2. the amount claimed for was extremely high and a claim was instituted against the municipality.

We confirm that you sold the vehicle, with the damaged tyres/rims and as a result, the Municipality advsied that they will proceed with litigation to defend this claim and they will further not pay a claim on a vehicle that is no longer owned by the road user.
The product sold to you attempted to assist, as per the wording, to claim the money from the Municipality however it was unsuccessful as the outcome of these claims cannot be guaranteed.
