the ICB and its 12months reassessment policy
Ealier this year I called the ICB and asked them how long do I have to apply for my re-assessment as I failed a subject and they said 12months, in the couse of the weeks that pass they send an email saying I have until May to write my final assessment for last years curriculum as they update every year in April, I called the student help line and they said I have to rewrite in May or I will have to redo the subject from scratch and when I asked how is this possible because I was informed I have 12month to rewrite as I wrote in November now I have less than a month as they sent an email 2weeks in April. I am very disappointed by the way their way of conduct and its clear that they are telling students one thing and doing another very bad service.
Our prospectus changed mid last year, and some courses have been updated and amended. This is done to ensure the curriculum is always up to date with industry and legislative changes. The discontinued courses had a phase out time of 6 months and May is the last opportunity to re-write any of these particular subjects. We send communication out to our learners and service providers on a monthly basis and also printed in the new prospectus.
