Super bad, never deal with them
On 1st September I made an EFT payment as usual to Instant Life. Approximately fifteen hours later I received a cancellation notice of the policy from them. Here is some history with these defunct people/company: I started this life insurance policy in 2013, with a debit order. Later on things became difficult financially, I contacted them to reduce my cover stating that I would increase it again later. I was informed it can not be increased again, huh? Eventually I cancelled the debit order and stated to pay via EFT. Approximately a year ago I started to receive fairly constant phone calls requesting me to convert to a debit order. After explaining that I do not want to go that route numerous time. They kept contacting me frequently. I have never missed a premium, ever! True to their fashion, no response to email, phone them and get transferred from one to the other and eventually your call is dropped. To all fellow citizens, stay clear of these ****bags. Have sent them an email today with an ultimatum, you guessed it, no response. On the 18th November I will lay a complaint with the Ombudsman.
