Reasonable time lapsed

Hi. I have a Life insurance policy which includes a Dredd disease policy. I was diagnosed with cancer and then informed them in December 2018. Then I was informed that I will not be paid out the full amount but, a percentage, I wasn't told this when I purchased the policy, not impressed.

Then my wife took over from me while I was in hospital. Then after some red tape my wife was informed on the 22nd of February that the payment would be done in the next week. Feeling a bit better I took over from my wife and started to deal with them. I really struggled to get hold of the right persons and when I got the right numbers for the right persons it normally just rang.

Now and then we got to talk but, all that was said it was sent to the financial department for payment which never came. When I asked to talk to someone who could help I was given a private cell nr. that goes on voice mail. Not impressed at all.
